This is a promotional poster for a comic I'm currently writing, editing, and drawing. It's going to be a fantasy adventure type story set in a world where mythical creatures, science, and magic all coexist. These 10 characters are the main heroes of the story. I plan to make a villain's poster later. I'll start posting pages of the comic in the first quarter of next year.

Story Synopsis: Tomoshiro Wilkento was a typical anime loving teenager living in Japan and attending high school. One day, while at his house, chilling with his best friends, Jon, Resiro, and Ryuu, he got a strange visit from an even stranger visitor. A small blue elf girl carrying a magic staff, collapsed at the foot of his door. While trying to figure out the girl's origins and nurse her back to health, Tomo and his friends are later attacked by a group of shadow like creatures intending to capture the girl. But before things could get out of hand, the elf girl activates the magic staff and teleports herself, along with Tomo, his friends, and the invaders, to her home world, Tethia. Tomo awakens within an ally in the city of Shura; a city full of anthropomorphic animals, with the elf girl next to him. However his friends and the invaders are nowhere to be found. Alone in a strange new world, can Tomoshiro locate his friends and find his way home, or does destiny have something else in store for this young time displaced otaku.

Short Character Bios:

Starting from bottom row, left to right:

Resiro Takeda: Age 17. An engineer and aspiring mechanic, Resiro is a lover of all things mecha. With a curious mind and an appetite for knowledge, he's the most intelligent between Tomoshiro and his friends. However, his curiosity often gets the better of him, and lands him and the others in troubling or dangerous situations.

Character influence: One of my best friends.

Ayumi Tigra: Age 18. A Were-Tiger tomboy who's always itching for a fight. This, coupled with her gift of super strength, is why she can't keep a boyfriend for more than three days. However, underneath her hot temper and combative personality, is a modest and loving young girl. She is the first friendly face Tomoshiro meets upon arriving on Tethia. She takes him and the elf girl in to live with her and her mother.

Character influence: Kagami Hiiragi (Lucky Star); Yoruichi Shihouin (Bleach)

Tomoshiro Wilkento: Age 17. A kindhearted anime loving martial artist who is often made fun of because of his height and misunderstood in school as a bully, due to his narrow eyes and how badly he beats actual wannabe bullies. Being a "simple guy with simple needs", he doesn't like how complicated his life has gotten, being thrown across dimensions to a strange world thanks to an elf girl child. Regardless, he is never hesitant to help those in need, and protects the young elf girl as he searches for his friends and explores this new world.

Character influence: Myself; Yusuke Urameshi (YuYu Hakusho)

Ryuu Goru: Age 19. A man of few words and a lover of swords. Ryuu has studied the ways of ninjas and samurai's for years has applied their philosophy to his everyday life. He is the calm and collective one among Tomoshiro's friends.

Character influence: One of my best friends; Assassin Cross (Ragnarok Online)

Maggie Tara: Age 19. A kindhearted Were-cheetah who lives on her own and works as a waitress in a diner. Despite being kindhearted, she is a deadly combatant thanks to her superspeed. She nurses Jon Arata, back to health after he crashes through her apartment's balcony window.

Character influence: Brittany Diggers (Gold Digger)

Starting from top row, right to left:

Jon Arata: Age 20. A 'Gun Kata' practitioner and lover of firearms who wants to become a police officer. Despite his aspiration, he started school a year late and never took interest in it, failing to graduate twice, once in kindergarten and in the 9th grade. In spite of his academic record, he has an uncanny ability to instantly calculate trajectories, giving him pinpoint accuracy when firing guns. He has been Tomoshiro's best friend since they were in kindergarten. Upon leaving the portal that teleported him and the others to Tethia, he crashes into Maggie Tara's apartment. He later leaves Maggie's care and wanders the city of Shura, searching for Tomo and the others.

Character influence: One of my best friends; Ichigo Kurosaki (Bleach)

Irye: Age 9 or 10, a mysterious Dark Elf who was found on Tomoshiro's doorstep. As she can only speak in her native language, no one can understand her and little is known about her origins. She carries with her a strange magic staff capable of creating dimensional portals. She is currently under the care of Tomoshiro. Unable to learn her real name, Tomoshiro calls her Irye, referencing her pointed ears.

Character influence: none

Shyra: Age 29, a mysterious ninja rabbit girl from an unknown clan of assassins. She takes interest in Tomoshiro and the others, specifically Ryuu, and watches them from the shadows.

Character influence: Fran (Final Fantasy XII)

Mariah Levi: Age 27. A hardcore police detective in the Shura City Police Department. She is deadly with pistols and is gifted with super reflexes and Olympic-level acrobatic skills. Because of her "Shoot first ask questions later," personality, she is one of the most feared detectives in all of Shura City. She mistakes Tomoshiro for criminal of the law and relentlessly pursues him, determined to bring him in for questioning.

Character influence: Revy (Black Lagoon)

Rebecca Judo: Age 24. A young mage in training at the Darius Institute of Magic. Despite her intellectual look, she is quite clumsy and often miss-cast spells, endangering both herself and her environment. Still, she is fairly knowledgeable on the history of Tethia and the origins of many ancient cultures and species. She comes from a wealthy family and is best friends with Maggie Tara. She helps Maggie search for Jon after he leaves her apartment.
